DIN kit for radio! Does the A4 aftermarket kit for radio workes for S4?

It's not like the stereo systems are in anyway different between the A4 and the S4, at least is has always been my understanding that they are the same.

The reason i asked is because form pics of A4's it looks different.

I haven't seen a DIN kit for 2000 A4 or S4. In fact I haven't seen anyone who has replaced their Symphony headunits yet. They have DIN kit for pre 2000 A4 with those oversized faceplate headunits but to install aftermarket headunits in the new S4 or A4 you are going to need some custom work to make the headunit fit.

I believe that all MY2000 A4s/S4s have the same stereo systems.

There are "double-DIN" head units available after- market. Check with your local high-end mobil audio store. Most i've seen will probably stick out like a sore thumb (IMHO). From my understanding if you have BOSE and want to change only the speakers everything must be changed.

Does the 2000 have a bigger center?.. or does it looks like it because it has a bigger radio and the spacing with AC is tigher.
