Default DIY estimate: How long do you think it will take to do the following work (assuming I have a lift)..

1. Replace passenger side horn (need to remove wheel liner)
2. Wire in a switch to my air horn (failed inspection)
3. Replace my suspension with the Vogt GT kit from the GB
4. Replace all 4 lower control arms
5. Change oil and filter

If I started at 7:00 PM, think I can get it done by midnight?

Default I'd plan atleast 4-6 hours alone for the Vogt GTs, depending on what you fun into....

oil change.....30 mins tops
Control arms....2 hrs???? (estimate)
as for the rest, i haven't a clue....

Default Are you removing the pinch bolt? I thought my coilovers would take a weekend and they've ended up

taking me days. I ruined the upper control arms torching the pinch bolt and ruined a steering knuckle drilling out the pinch bolt on one side. The planned "two day" installed has lasted a lot longer in wait time for new parts to get here.

Pinch bolts are fine. Had them out a month ago to do the upper control arms and used anti-seize

Default Do you have help? I know I'd personally have a tough time doing all that in 5 hours. There's no

way I could accomplish all that solo in that timeframe. Have you done all these things before? For me, the first time takes a while and then if I have to do it again, it goes quick and smoothly.

Oil change and horn stuff are curbside items, do them separately.

b/c of that goddamn pinch bolt!!! that is the main reason i didn't want to tackle it!! My advice, spray that **** w/ as much anit-seize as humanly possible!!! GL

If the pinch bolts are fine, then plan on it being a breeze....aka not taking 2 days
