Only if your current ones aren't holding boost or are damaged

Default I think it could make a difference with a 6 speed...

how much of a difference I'm not sure. But the shifts seem better with the valves, as in no boost delay.

Default no. only if stock valves are toasted.

they are an insurance policy, that's all.

Default Maybe just a little...

They DO recover boost quicker, which if you shift fast, will give you more boost sooner as you engage 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears.
