Default Do I have to change my Tip chip if I decide to chip the engine?

Hi All,

Anyone of you have chipped your Tip S4? Which one do you use and have you changed your Tip chip as well? Is GIAC the only Tip chip?

Thanks in advance for any response.

Default Nope!

You should be able to dorito the car without the need of pringles.
I don't have either, mate!
I believe GIAC is the only pringles manufacturer.

Default If you have doubts about the tip chip, I suggest you try

the ecu chip first and see how the gear changes are affected. Even with my giac tip chip, the transmission is too sensitive to the gas pedal and in manual mode will change to a lower gear too easily.

Default I have the GIAC engine chip but not the GIAC TIP chip yet.

It works fine, but the transmission is a little slow though.
I will be upgrading to the GIAC X-chip pretty soon and will also get the TIP-Chip at the same time.
GIAC is the only provider of a TIP chip.
