Do inner TRE's wear?

I just replaced my CA's, front bearings, links, outer TRE's and suspension. The handling is greatly improved, but the steering is not as tight as I remember when the car was new.
Are there other parts I need to replace to get all slop out of the steering wheel. Do the inner TRE's wear and need to be replaced? Anything else?

inner's can wear and develop play as well. not as common as the outers but they do go bad eventually. lift the car and feel for play (hold ur hand on the inner and have some1 jerk the wheel back and forth) if there's play then they are bad. the rack can also cause slop in the steering.
