Do we have a single coilpack that power all plugs or 6 coilpacks one for each plug?

From VAG reading, I'm experiencing several (0-6) misfires every 30 secs on different cylinders. Does it should like a Coilpack issue? Thanks

ic, then my issue is probably not my coilpacks. Any ideas what might cause it?

Default audi will say "it's normal and within spec". Misfires are commonly caused by fouled/old spark plugs

carbon deposits. Run a couple bottles of FI cleaner over the next couple of tankfulls of fuel. 6 every 30secs seems pretty normal for the 2.7t to me.

91 gas at 76 station. I recently changed all plugs due to idle vibration. New plugs didn't help.

Default Does any one cylinder misfire more than the others? Also, .....

have you registered a DTC code in the bank or are you just looking live at blocks 015 and 016?

Default I'm looking live at block 15 & 16. there is no error code in the system.

Certain cylinder misfires more than others. I can't recall exactly which ones misfire more. Will it help if I find out? TIA

Default Blocks 015 and 016 will show you the misfires at idle as they occur...

and in each cylinder...so you can determine which cylinder is misfiring. This is only at idle, though.

It takes repeated cylinder misfires and at high numbers for the ECU to register a DTC in the fault code bank (i.e. you can have cylinder misfires for a while visible on block 015 and/or 016 but not show a DTC....but after a week or so a DTC should appear if the threshold has been exceeded).

Let me know what you see in 015 and 016.
