Default MBC does exactly what I need perfectly, so no need to spend more $$ on an EBC...

There are some advantages to an EBC such as bringing on boost sooner, really customizing the boost through the rpms, and saving certain maps for racing, normal driving, ect. However, I am very happy with what I have now. The sole reason I went with the mbc was to get rid of the overboosting issue.

Why was it overboosting in the first place?

Default Good question...

I have no leaks whatsoever, no problems. It really only happened after RS4 ic's were added on Mike's, Kurt's, and my car. I would love a concrete answer to that question, but our theory was just IC's causing a pressure drop. All I know is that all is fine to our knowledge now

Default Are you planning on trying an EBC by any chance?

I would love to get your feedback!! Maybe someday in the future I will go with an EBC if other's have good experiences. I am really trying to save up for other things right now, so I might as well stick with the mbc for now.

I figured there was more than one failsafe in there.

Default I am planning to run a Greddy profec B soon

it's a simple EBC with very little control and options. So it's not overly confusing. I have driven other big turbo A4's (APR stage 3 1.8T)with this EBC and it's nice. Just smooth boost response with a tad less lag. I would guess about 200 RPM less lag. I believe that this person even had special software to take advantage of the EBC. I think it had a little more agressive midrange timing.

Default Ok im kinda confused...

you disconnect the the hoses from the n75 and plug them to the mbc right? Doesnt this give some kind of dtc? OR is the mbc plumbed after the the n75 to act like a failsafe from spikes? TIA
