Default Does 119nm translate into some ft. lbs. of torque? Here is why I ask.

Putting brembo S8 calipers back together after rebuild. Asked this long ago, but lost where I wrote down the torque specifications for the bolts.

119nm = 87.77 ft. lbs.

that sounds like a lot for the bolts holding a caliper together.

Sounds OK to me. The Alcon (Stasis) calipers use 70 lb ft to hold the caliper to the bracket.

i did, it just seems like a lot. our wheels are held on with about the same.
