Does anyone else get fading in the FIS as the car warms up?

Does anyone else get fading in the FIS as the car warms up?
At first I noticed just a few pixels in the upper left corner would become much dimmer as the car warmed up. Now half the display gets very dim when it warms up. It gets dim in an odd pattern like goo oozing down from the top left corner. It always returns to full bright when I turn the car on cold. Anyway to fix that besides replacing it?

get different reports of displays going blank/garbled characters
mine doesn't do it. Basically since we had most people not return the parts that we replaced we are charging $50 for the unit and $25 for the cable. We then will make a regular parts order. When we get your parts we will PayPal you $15 for the main unit or $10 for the harness.
