Does the improved weight distribution of the S4 Avant give it any better handling than the S4?

Also, what is the weight difference between the S4 Avant and S4? ... about 100 lbs? And last of all, is there any more leg room in the back seat of the Avant as compared to the sedan (I know it doesn't look any roomier in the back of the A4 Avant as compared to the sedan). Thanks for any help!

IMO...
Typically the rear suspension is slightly firmer to accomodate greater loads in the back. When travelling w/o cargo, the wagon feels sharper on turn-in. Again, mostly just my opinion here. This may occur for the same reasons a stiff rear sway bar would seem decrese understeer. Or I may be completely insane.
In Fact...
The rear LEG room is no greater than in the sedan. However, you do see an extra 5+cms of HEAD room.
And you can carry tubas with much greater ease. (not that I would)
