Default Does this mean trouble? (coolant and intake manifold)

Im swapping my intake manifold and 'lo and behold', theres orange goo. Most of it is dried up, but it seeems it was leaking from the hose connection rather than the pump. Nothing is wet, I guess meaning that it hasnt leaked in a while. Any advice? Should I just not worry about it?

Also, any genius way to clean to dirt and grime off the heads without dropping it all into the block? Thanks!

Default That is what mine looked like when the aux pump went...

If you are not losing coolant, then I'd just wait. Removing the IM is not a difficult job so it wouldn't be hard to go back in and fix the pump later.

I used the hose attachment on my vacuum and it cleaned out all the dirt really well.

Default You need to replace your after run coolant pump its leaking!

Why are you replaceing the intake manifold ?
Your head ports look very dirty , you should use air to blow all the junk away from the ports ...

Default are you sure its the pump? If it was the pump wouldn't it be leaking

at the joint? It looks like it all came out of the hose-pump connection

Isn't there a rebuild kit also? I thought I read something about that at one point.
