A few days ago, i turned off the car and went inside my house. I came back out 20 min later and noticed a humming sound from the front of my car. I could hear a fan of some sort still running. So I turned the car back on and off, and it stopped. Can anyone explain? TIA.

There is a thermoswitch that will activate if:
a) the coolant temp is above 112°C AND
b) the engine has been off for 10 minutes or less
If those conditions are met, the after-run coolant pump and aux. fan will activate for until the coolant temps drop below ???°C or 10 minutes have passed, whichever comes first.
However, it is very uncommon for coolant temps to get that high so you'll rarely, if ever, hear the coolant pump and fan after the car is shut off.
A common mod that was recently discovered was to use a lower temperature thermoswitch from a VW, which lowers the activation temperature to 93°C. With that lower temperature switch, the coolant pump and fan run pretty frequently on shutdown.

it is set at a fairly high temp, so for it to run that long would mean your car was very VERY hot at the time you shut down.
It might be a bad sensor???

Is it for all the token reasons:
Out of warranty
Repairs too expensive
Modifications to Stage 3 for Tip are $$$$.
Or is there a Mrs JeHo on the horizon? Afterall, Bally's is not a bad place to meet ladies......
