Does white lithium spray really improve shifting smoothness? Where do you exactly spray the stuff?

Does white lithium spray really improve shifting smoothness? YOU BET!
I just sprayed it yesterday and boy,easiest improvement mod yet.You remove the shifter ****, put you 4 fingers under the boot nearer the ashtray and pull straight up, carefully removeboot.. I simply sprayed white lithium grease from the can onto the white nylon gear ball where the shifter arm goes. Sprayed in all the nooks and crannies, replaced the boot and the shifting almost feels as smooth as my 8 yr old NSX (well, close..) Someone posted this idea and figured I go for it before the Stratosphere shifter mod. Hope that helps.
