Doing DIY suspension install. Is this spring compressor tool overkill for the job?

There is no overkill, just cost... I'll take a full lift any day over a jack, just can't afford it.

Default Not really, I've done well over 20 suspension installs....
with the one Mark posted. It works flawlessly every time and is actually quite well build for the price.
