I did my brake pads on my A4, so it shouldn't be much different on the S4. The questions are, do I need special tools to remove rotors. I'm going to have them turned to remove a small groove I have in one. Bleeding brakes, I bought some pressure kit so I can do it myself, what line order should I do it in? Driver front to passenger rear? I hope I can figure this stupid thing out. And where is the bleeder valve, any one have a photo? Last question, I want to put the car on 3 jack stands, front first then rear (Painting the calipers). Where should I place the jack in the front and back to raise the car. That is all :-) Thanks to ECS for the parts and speedy delivery!

you will need to turn the wheels full lock left/right to access the two bolts that hold the caliper on the hub. First unfasten the spring clip that holds the pads, then pry the caliper apart and remove pads.
Make sure you have the brake fluid resevoir open.

The order for bleeding is passenger rear, drivers rear, passenger front, drivers front. You always start from the farthest wheel from the master cylinder and work your way towards it.
You may want to reconsider the brake fluid you've chosen. I've heard that it can cause some problems w/ the B5 master cylinder. I'm using it but on a C4 car.
You might want to put some brake silicon on the backs of the pads and sides where they meet the caliper, my mintex squealed like pigs until I did this.
Good luck, remember, turn the pistons clockwise and apply pressure to get them back in to accept new pads.

These procedure should help; they're for the A8/S8, but they contain lots of pics and should keep you going in the right direction.

The shiny little nipple in the upper right in the pic is a front caliber bleed. Since you haven't bled brakes yourself before, I'd recommend you get help from someone with experience. It's not a difficult job, but it is something that needs to be done perfectly.
