doing front lower c-arms, how to remove bolt at lower rear at the subframe?
#5
I thought there was a provision/hole in the subframe to remove the bolt?
Basically just enough extra room to get the bolt out of the control arm. Assuming that the control arm bolts were installed correctly.

just lower the subframe a bit .
support with a jack , remover all the 6 bolts (4 13mm and the 2 big ones 18mm ) using the jack lower the subframe and remove those bolts.. leave it that way untill you put the new ones in
it's easy.
it's easy.

believe it or not dropping subframe is easiest. some have reported success without
but there is no way i could have without bending the crap out of that rear flange (with the bolt hole in it) to get it out. esp on the driver's side with the brake lines there.
i think on some cars it MIGHT be possible. but it's really not worth it. just move your jackstands if needed. pop a floor jack under the subframe and go to town.
