LONG STORY--i still have my 2001 S4 Avant--back when i was member of an avant group out of Media Pa.--sorry forget names of folks-girl and husband in charge-had picnic at their house--offered to use her laptop to modify remote functions-one touch unlock all doors-no more door lock at 10mph etc--worked great til about 2 years ago after dead battery-no more one touch BUT only drivers door unlocking and locking with remote other doors and hatch do not work with remote OR inside lock button on door panel--had my repair shop get pump out and test--no leaks but pump will not come on with 2 button push---so no reason for nothing working
the code in system for doors shows code as 16232--repair owner searched internet for what is proper factory code for 2001 S4 avant--NO LUCK--
IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT THE PROPER CODE IS PLEASE LET ME KNOW--OR--IF YOU KNOW WHAT SETTINGS ARE FOR ONE TOUCH UNLOCK AND OVER RIDE 10 MPH AUTO-DOOR LOCK please let me know where to put those codes--i know the person who made those changes years ago did not mess with any wires or such.
