Default I am happy with my clutchmasters stg 4 clutch + FW setup

If you see stories of them failing, just remember that this is a wear item and very prone to "idiot failure." If you drop any clutch repeatedly from 6k when street racing every weekend, it will not matter what clutch you have, the life will be limited.

Clutchmasters makes good products and has been around forever. They used to sponsor one of my drag cars, and I had nothing but good experiences with their products. There are other good clutches on the market also, I'm not advocating clutchmasters over others, just saying take the negative comments with a hint of skepticism.

Default The south bend FE with RS4 pressure plate has awesome driveability, near stock. But I don't think

it will hold the power you're looking for...

Default Fvck the SAC/RS4 PP, nothing but problems!!! Consider a new SPEC setup or the non-SAC Sachs PP

the latter needs a special adapter to work properly...I know Al@CPT has installed several of these. Personally I didn't like the feel of the clutchmasters setup I tried, but take that fwiw.

Default Not sure how that's possible. Everything I've seen says there is or will be (once it wears)

clearance issues between the fw bolts and the friction disk.

You can get other fw's to work, but you need to counter sink the fw bolt holes in the fw.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2170198.phtml
