If you see stories of them failing, just remember that this is a wear item and very prone to "idiot failure." If you drop any clutch repeatedly from 6k when street racing every weekend, it will not matter what clutch you have, the life will be limited.
Clutchmasters makes good products and has been around forever. They used to sponsor one of my drag cars, and I had nothing but good experiences with their products. There are other good clutches on the market also, I'm not advocating clutchmasters over others, just saying take the negative comments with a hint of skepticism.

the latter needs a special adapter to work properly...I know Al@CPT has installed several of these. Personally I didn't like the feel of the clutchmasters setup I tried, but take that fwiw.

clearance issues between the fw bolts and the friction disk.
