Dr. Jekyll goes over to the dark side... :-/

This afternoon/evening Kevin and I tested out my Blinder M20 X-treme LASER jammer using an older Pro Laser LASER gun.
It passed with flying colours. The Blinder comes with two transponders which are mounted just below the bumper one under each headlight. On a black S4 with no front license plate, Kevin was unable to get a speed reading with the Blinder on.
Hopefully Kevin will chime in with more info.
Thanx Kevin!

Glad I could help out. Playin with the laser gun was kinda fun :-)
The Blinder worked great. Without the jammer on I was able to get Stephen's speed pretty easily and quickly. But when he turned the Blinder on it I wasn't able to get a lock (the gun has a solid beep when it gets a reading) on his car at all.
It was not very apparent that he was jamming me either. I could notice a little difference in the way the gun was beeping (more rapid beeps as it gets more readings) but nothing to make me say "yes he is definitely using the jammer". Some cars I could get readings on, others i could not and Stephens car just seemed like one of the cars I couldn't get right away.
The cool thing with the blinder is that you can turn it off, and as soon as Stephen did I was able to get a speed reading. Overall I'm very impressed with the Blinder M20 jammer. Thanks to Stephen for getting me an amazing deal on one, I can't wait to get it in my car :-D

They do look pretty cool in that pic :-) To bad I had just rolled out of bed (yes it was like 3:30 in the afternoon) and I have the goofiest smirk on my face :-/

Good to hear - I might want to try out that gun..........
The gearing in my Golf suggests my new 5th gear is now identical to my S4's 6th gear:

However, the speedos differ quite a bit (note both photos in top gear @3000 rpms):

I logged the Golf with ECUx and the speed (and to a lesser degree, the RPMs) reads higher on the instrument gauge than what the data in the ECU sees. I logged and took some photos, but haven't put that info together yet, but I recall that when ECUx said the car was at 85mph, the gauge was up around 88-89mph.
I'm pretty sure it's just the Golf's instrument cluster that is displaying higher than actual, however it might be nice to confirm that with a calibration device such as you have )
