Default Drivers Door Sagging....Some Help

Do hinges usually go on these cars? Parts guy at an Audi dealer told me that is strange and that hinges do not really go in these cars...

Anyone with some help here as the door is sagging...

W=Could it be anything else? The hinges are expensive and have not been able to find them online anywhere, they are expensive...

Thanks

No... This just started a short while ago.. I adjusted it and now it has shifted off again...

It closes fine but the door is sagging... The car is an 2001.5 so 8 years old... The parts guy told me they don't even stock the hinges, that is how infrequently they have a call for them.... It looks pretty simple to me that the hinges are the problem but going to have someone I know look at it...He does some work on the car....

I scoured the car before I bought it 2 years ago...

had the hinges changed on my 2001 2 years ago.
Could not live with the noise when it hits ans slides up
into the pillar female part. (real clunker stuff :-) )
passenger and rear ones closed like new, now they all do.
worth every penny

My door was taken off for repairs an put back on by the body shop. They did a beautiful job and everything linedup perfectly, however they said that it might have to come back for adjustment. Sure enough, after a few weeks (which turned into a few months due to my schedule) it wasn't lining up anymore and made alot of noise on the highway. When I I took it back to them they said that VW and Audi hinges were really tricky and almost always requre a few adjustments since they start to sag after a while. Once you get it right though, they should be fine as mine still fits great(a couple years later).

Typical B5 problem. Mine are also sagging....one of my old indy shops told me an easy fix was to use a floor jack and jack up the corner of the door and 1/2" or so, sounds scary so I have yet to attempt it.
