DTC: 17963 - P1555 -- Charge pressure upper limit exceeded...seems to be fixed now...(BPV related)
I run Bailey BPV in my Stage 3 S4, as mentioned, I pressure tested etc., valves seemed to pop/hold. Dave suggested they were the problem, so tonight I took them apart.

The piston/o-ring were bone dry...
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/1499/p1010032.jpg">
the spring & inside of the piston head were very well lubricated. ;-P
I used some Amsoil Lithium high temperature grease, and after being a lazy sod & doing this nightmare with my valves on the car (not recommended btw)...if you have man hands, working with that little allen wrench & teeny little bolts just simply is not fun.
Anyhow, after a warm up/15 minute acceleration/speeding blast, I was unable to knock it back into limp mode. I did get a totally flat feeling at one point, but it went away after I switched gears & accelerated (this was at the beginning, so I'm thinking the lube just needed to spread a bit more.
Anyhow, as the week goes on, I'll repost if this didn't fix it, but for now, it appears to have done the trick.
Thanks again DAP.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1723493.phtml">Earlier thread today...</a></li></ul>

Hadn't been greased since last fall...
I don't drive it in the winter, and when I started getting it, I found a very loose clamp on the hose running from MAF to Y Pipe.
Once I'd tightened everything up, and pressure tested, I figured it was ok...when it kicked back to limp on Sunday...it was time to start re-checking.
The Bailey valves don't need to be serviced...it says right there on the AWE website. ;-P riiiiiight.

Truth be told...
after fvcking around for 90 minutes on the first one, I pulled off the right one & did it in 30.
While I'm being honest...I'm a complete retard & wasted 10 minutes wondering how I'd get the piston & spring back in without being able to compress it & insert it at the same time, then I thought "hey, it is a vacuum system", clamped the small line on the nipple end, and voila, it stayed compressed.
This is why I don't DIY...no patience & slightly more know how.
