Default DTC/STD? 17866 EGT sensor 2 short to ground intermittant
WTF is that from?? No DP work or other engine work that would of caused any physical issues with the wire or the EGT sensor. Is this just the sign of a bad EGT sensor starting or what?

Also would this cause the car to buck violantly on occasion under WOT conditions? Limp, non limp type of thing or what?

Default I think EGT sensors can just die...
Bad EGT sensors will significantly affect the performance of the car.

definitely a bad sensor , and yes, exactly the symptoms I had in terms of performance issues

I get the same DTC but I get it for both sensors. Car goes in and out of limp mode.
