Default I went Stg3 at 62k miles and now have 139k - It's a "daily driver"
It's been my only car up through about 133k miles. At that time, I bought a 2nd car, however I still probably drive the S4 more than many others so it's not like it only sits in the garage. I've put about 18k on the S4 so far this year (with 3 months remaining), and 7k on the VW (in the past 3 months). I'll probably drive another 8k miles in the two cars combined before the year is over, putting me around 33k for the year. This doesn't include about a month (3k miles?) of driving I did on my wife's car while my S4 had clutch issues earlier this spring

Default Daily Driver here, and do the 2.7s lose significant compression? I thought the hi-milers are ...
reporting great longevity. Mark, compression / leakdown tested lately?

Default haven't tested compression, but might not be a bad idea as...
I was planning to do it to the Golf before modding

Default im planning ahead, and my warranty is up at 100k..
so i want to be stage 3 by 101k. and i wasnt sure if that wuold be too late

Went stage III at 87,000miles - 126,000miles now - yes, daily driver.
