due to a pebble, I need a new windshield. should i go to the dealer and get OEM...?

Since it's not my windshield, It should be fine then?

Also, it's a much smaller piece of glass.

I guess. The other glass doesn't have the safety lamination layer in between AFAIK.

If you specify PPG glass from Safelite they will provide it.

I used safelite and the bill was bout 270 out the door with PPG. I believe with their glass it might be a tad cheaper..say like 20-30 bucks.
