DV's question on sound..

okay, got a weird question on Diverter Valves..

when pushed real hard... like racing (drags/streets) do they make "similar" noise to what a BOV would sound? meaning that PHHHSSSTT sound during the shifts?

want an example? watch the Race#1 and Race#2 and listen to my car shifting...

hey! i get those sounds, too!

just like your situation, when pushed really hard my car makes that BOV sound. if your forge DV's do them, i guess what my car is doing is normal. i still have the OEM DV.

Not normal...maybe the end caps on the Forge's are loose???

This is the symptom that gave away my torn diaphram DV. No "blow-off" sound on my Forges.

If you have MAD rowing skills and pushing hard, they will make that noise

so....

i got two saying that is normal... one saying nay..

hmm... well, i am going in for my "gulp" 48k service when ever i get a chance to make an appointment. we will see. damn, that makes it my last "free" service.
