Which is the easier / cheaper DIY? Outer CV joint alone or whole axle with 2 new joints?

CV joint kit from ecs- $170
Remanufactured axle from Raxles ~$200 based on my research
Seems like it would be easier just to replace the whole thing rather than deal with replacing and repacking just the one joint. Anybody have any opinions or experiences to share?

SO much easier just to swap the axles, than to rebuild the joint. Saves atleast one hour labor. My experience with Raxles.com was probably one of the best i've had with parts for this car. Amazing quality and service. They rent the tools required for the job for free also.
