Should I do it?
I have a Venair TBB and F-hose for sale if you like. Blue color, like Samco, and brand new. They came to me in a set but I don't need them on my car since I have a 2001.5 with a bipipe. Drop me an email if you're interested.

Jesus, if I don't buy it, one of them might die... I should probably start getting paypal set up to my new back account.

Now if only audi could hve had those orphans build our cars in the first place... Think of the quality.

I haven't installed mine yet, but they seem to be of high enough quality. You will have to trim like 4 sharp edges on the inside corners of a few of them, but it easy and quick with just a razor. I've heard the TBB (and f-hose if you need that) is one piece that fits questionably. I've already got a samco, so I won't be installing mine anyways, but $110 for the whole kit shipped can't be beat. If you are worried about the TBB, buy this kit and get a real TBB from 034, samco, or whoever else, and you're still well less than the full Samco kit.

I might be willing to take that TBB off your hands. The paranoia over the stock one nearly keeps me up at night. And it will be a couple of months before I can get to replacing all the other hoses anyway.

I've heard there are fitment issues with the samco TBB as well - the TBB is just a goofy hose altogether.

Comp: You should get yourself the APR bipipe and never worry about the TBB again - peace of mind would be worth the $300 bucks, eh?

Maybe if I was Stage III, something tells me that this S4 will never be getting those K04s (missed my chance 4 years ago). Plus it seems like the stage III tips are never that solid. And when S4s are "dirt cheap" right now.

I wouldn't ever spend the $300 for an APR bipipe when there's a $60 fix that similiarly you'll never have to worry about again.

The only thing that will give me peace of mind is if that f'n car gets stolen. (not that I want it to get stolen... just I want a 6sp) I;m sure insurance company would screw me.. So maybe not even that.

Even the best hoses can break, right? But I agree, the samco upgrade will probably last a lifetime. There are even some woven (is it kevlar) types out there that promise even better longevity.
