ECS OEM replacement brake kit experience (see inside kinda long) ...

I needed new rotors and pads after 47k miles of respectful abuse.
After talking to many people and STFA I decided on the Zimmerman slotted front rotors, plain rears (all slotted on back order), 6 SS line kit, PBR Ceramic pads and Motul RBF 600 fluid.
I was very pleased with ECS. They gave me a very accurate description of the ceramic pads and shipped the goods immediately. They earnestly warned me the pads needed additional heating up in colder weather, but when warm they offered a nice bite with less dust than stock and close to Mintex but without the squeel.
They were dead on. After bedding in the brakes, I can't believe how much less dust these have yet the response is quite good. My stockers were almost too touchy. I can ease into these much better and get better stopping power when needed.
Steve's European Automotive did the install (hats off to Rob) for the extremely thorough TLC at a fair price. They have always been honest and will do what it takes to get the job done right.
Overall costs:
ECS $635 in parts shipped to MI.
$32 for the 1.5 liters of fluid shipped
$380 for the install of rotors, pads, and lines
$80 for a much needed thorough flush (never been done).
