ECS or PureMS timing belt kit?

Default ECS or PureMS timing belt kit?

PureMS is cheaper (approximately $300) but the ECS kit (approximately $450) comes with a locking bar

ECS

Timing belt
Idler roller
Tensioner roller
Hydraulic tensioner
Relay lever for hydraulic tensioner
Water pump
Cam seals (2)
Crank/Oil pump seal
Thermostat (Behr)
Thermost O-Ring
Accessory drive belt
Two 1.5 Liter bottles of G12 coolant
ECS cam locking tool

PureMS

OEM Tensioning damper
OEM Tensioner Roller
OEM Relay Roller
OEM Tensioner Lever Arm
OEM Timing Belt
OEM Behr Thermostat with O-Ring
OEM Serpentine Belt
All Metal Water Pump

I'd say it's subjective, of course i have not seen the purems one in person. I just did the ECS kit and was satisfied with all the included components.

I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one

the Ultimate Plus Kit is the best deal. The ECS Cam Locking Tool is also available with any of the kits we offer.

Yes, all the parts included in the kit are from OEM suppliers.
