Default Is the ECS Ultimate Timing Belt/Water Pump kit missing a tension roller part?

I went over the parts with my mechanic and we were going to order the kit and we discovered that the kit is missing another belt tensioner piece? Is this true? Can I just use the kit and I don't need anything else? The missing belt tension piece is not a cheaper part.

Thanks.

Default Yes. Aren't there two bearings on the timing belt and one on the ribbed belt

If they only include 2 bearings with two belts, they are missing one. Not sure which, but I bet it's the ribbed belt tensioner.

Is there a list of what I need to do a "full" Timing belt replacement job? I am just about ready to do the change, but am a bit confussed as to what I should change.

Default Yep, that's not included, something like $100.00 for the part...

And they are known to fail....just as prone as anything else could fail in the timing belt department.

Default Which part did you need?

Give us a call/e-mail and we will get the extra parts you need. We stock all the tensioners, dampners in the timing belt area.

Default it would be nice to have all these as part of the kit (of course including the cost)

this way one would get the truely "ultimate tb kit " and not miss anything.
