Default ECUx BT: Having trouble with properties file.

I've read the help section on ECUx and I'm still suck at starting a new ECU group file. When I try it gives me VAG100 - VAG163. This is where I'm stuck as I don't know what I'm supposed to select there. Any help you all can give me would be appreciated.

Default each group file is for different ecu boxes.

Gotta email APR and ask them for your specific box.

Default Can I just not find another user with an A-box and see what group file it may be?

Or is it specific to what they set me up on?

Default

Every A-box uses the same property file. Try 121 first. If it's not that, must be 119. 120 is M-box.

Default Dumb question inside:

Before I do all of this do I need to have the cable connected or can I just select 1st then plug in?

Default In order to test the property file, you need to be plugged in. If you try to log and get all 0s, you

have the wrong property file. The easiest way to test is by logging with the key in on position, but engine off.

You can choose the property file without the cable plugged in, but what good does that do you if you haven't tested to make sure it's the correct one?
