^^^ this pic is NOT what my car currently looks like.^^ Read below for more info.

Engrish content.

Ok, as most of you know about a year ago i wrecked my car.

After I wrekced it the car drove fine. If i were blind, i wouldnt of known the car was wrecked (great analogy huh ?).

After about a year, i get all of the motor parts done. (pulleys, belts, oil pan, so on and so on.

Yesterday i cranked her up.. she started up first try, no problems. Im thinking wow what a champ. I go to move it. Put it in reverse, she doesnt move ??? Put it in first, she doesnt move ?? Second ? same thing. So i turn it off, scratch my head. Turn it back on, and repeatthe process. Only this time i notice that rpms and and speedometer go up ?? the car sounds like its driving. No sounds of axles being broken, drive shafts being broken, or gears grinding ??

* Refferance the pic. I know what this sounds like* lol

Possible things i can think of.

The entire core support, intercooler, and bi pipe is off of the car. So none of those sensors are plugged in. Could this cause it ??

The Airbag lights have not been reset since the accident.

the car goes in and out of gear with ease. The trans and clutch are both only 10k miles old. Done by the stealership under warranty. the rear diff and drive shafts were replaced 7k miles ago.

WTF ????

What controls the mph reading on the car, and how does it move when the car doesnt move ???

TIA for your help everyone..

Good stuff...

new wheels scheme. Hate it or love it. I love it.

<a href="http://<a%20href="http://photobucket.com"%20target="_blank"><img%20sr c="http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i128/Mossburg031/untitled-4.jpg"%20border="0"%20alt="Photo%20Sharing%20and%2 0Video%20Hosting%20at%20Photobucket">&l

Default maybe one of the diff's is toast, or you forgot to connect one of the drive shafts...

The speed sensor should be on the output shaft of the trany, so that would suggest the clutch is not slipping. So, it would seem that the issue is somewhere between the input shaft on the tranny and the wheels. If none of the axles were connected to the tranny (ie missing all bolts), I could see this happening. If only 1 wasn't, I'd expect the diffs (quattro) to still move the car...

I'd try again and have someone check to see if any of the 3 outputs from the tranny are turning (but not turning the axles due to missing bolts), and then try again on jack stands to see if any of the wheels move, and also to see if any of the 3 outputs from the tranny are turning....

I drove the car for about 6 months after the shafts and diff were replaced.

Default I had to move the car. Its a steep incline into the garage.

It was about to start raining. 6 people wouldnt be able to push this tank up the hill.

Moving the car 20 feet without the radiator isnt going to kill the car.

cars in pieces belong in garages, not at the bottom of hills.

Default interesting, but I'd still try the above based on the speed sensor being in the tranny...

so the internals of the tranny must be moving if the speedo is registering (assuming the speed sensor is properly located)
