Default EDIT: Update on my Twin2 exhaust install

Earlier I posted how I had dropped my car off for an exhaust install at 8:00 AM. Original thread Well, I finally received my car with new exhaust at 5:30 PM. That's right, 9.5 hrs for an exhaust install.

You saw correctly, that's 9.5 hrs!! During the course of the day I had AWE and this auto shop on the phone with me, and each other, and tension was high. Each claiming that the it was the other's fault for the ill-fit.

But, to give the auto shop credit, they did call at 4:30 PM to tell me that they knew what was wrong. They had installed the extension for the front hanger in backwards. They called me and explained the situation to me, told me they would only charge me for 1 hour of labor, and even called AWE to apologize for the "conversation" that took place earlier in the day.

Needless to say, AWE earns my respect too. They make a great product, supply AWEsome materials, and perfect fit. I simply couldn't be happier with my car and the new exhaust. Sure, maybe I could have received my car earlier in the day, and sure I could have gone without the added frustration, but I can't remember the last time I actually had something work "right" for a change. :-) This auto shop definitely earned my trust, and I'd be happy to take it back when I need something done. They deserve it.

Sorry for the long post, but thought I'd share. My new exhaust! It's SO badass!

Tires a little bald? Is the exhaust loud at idle and WOT?

Default If I may: A nice purr at idle. Gives a good solid sound at <2300 RPMS...

then it mellows out and screams above 4K. AWEmazing for sure! Definitely rivals my doritos for best mod yet.

Default Uh....track tires? Hello? :-D

It's not a crazy untamed loud, but gets respect when under load. Idle is pretty nice, just a little raspier than stock. AWE has a sound link on thier website......

The real benefit of the twin2 though, in direct conflict with BiTurbs shop(no offense--sorry), is its ease of install. AWE's twin 2 exhaust installs & aligns almost by itself, compared to some of the other exhausts I've done.
