Education needed: Which suspension component(s) affect nose dive under breaking the most?
#25
all depends on what you want out of your suspension - if reduced dive is the ultimate goal - a linea
r spring is better. A progressive spring will allow more compliance and, thus, dive in the beginning of compression. A linear will be the same throughout.

Not "increased rebound", but rather both rebound and compression.
The rebound setting on the fronts affect how fast the front end comes back up after letting off the brakes.
Compression rebound on the fronts affects how fast the front end dives relative to braking force, so if you're doing a quick stab on the brakes, the front end doens't dive as far.
To a smaller degree, a firmer rebound setting in the rear will help the front end from diving.
