Default At first we were going to be "stupid & foolish" and use stock bottom end...

I figured, someone has to be the guinea pig to see what this hopefully "supra-esque" bottom end can take with the right planning and tuning.

But as countless labor hours were spent, coupled with major head work, valve train, ...

Reality started to set in and the little voice started saying <i>"Dude do you really want to ruin all the head work, etc... by throwing a rod?"</i> Oh wait no that was my dad after he started adding up all the reciepts and pointing out we are going to be spinning this sucker up to 8,500 rpm!

Well guess what, I have custom forged rods and pistons sitting on the shelf along with rod bearings that will be installed.

Sorry guys I thought I had the ballz, but I had to build the lower end to be safe.

Someone else is gonna to have to find the limit of the stock bottom end.

So who wants to volunteer? DOCSLOW? I have an Uber 40psi file sitting here for you ready to try on stock fueling! j/k of course ;p

No waterfest this year, not quite ready for that. But by next year we will be ready to showcase our cars.

Default We appreciate all the kind words guys, we do try hard to make nice products...

Things are finally coming together for us after a very long R&amp;D period. We hope to have some very fast streetable cars running around soon.

Again and as always I appreciate all the past support.

Default looks like a nice job....question: if you CNC machined the plate...

why didnt you just cnc the needed mounting features in for the sensor at the same time?

Default well Mark, i must say that I'm impressed that someone is finally acknowledging that all of this

power can't be made without further upgrading of other components.

Default Good question, originally planned it that way. The bottom was machine down to 3/16" thick...

A little poor planning on my part when I realized too late the IAT sensor had an o-ring that required at least 3/8" depth to insertion.

With the bottom already machined and I really did not want to re-fixture and such, so a small plate (you guessed it) 3/16" thick was machined and welded on the bottom plate. Then bored and tapped for the sensor that gave me the 3/8" I needed.

220/221 whatever works I guess
