EGT sensor : APR chip = epc light. Stock chip = no epc light....
Does that seem strange to anyone? Looks like either way I'm in for an egt sensor replacement. No linp mode as of yet either. How long beofore that kicks in? The epc light came on last Sunday when the APR box went in. Swapped the stocker back in and no epc light (haven't vagged it w/stock box though).

Odd, I had no EPC light w/ my APR chipped L box and a bad bank 1 EGT sensor.
Did you have any throttle body codes on the APR box? EPC light wouldn't be thrown just for an EGT sensor regardless of code. Is the APR box coded properly and was a TBA performed?

I occasionally had to turn the key off and on a couple times after changing modes to get the EPC...
and CEL to go away. Can you switch back to stock, then chipped (on the same ECU)?

Light back on, no issues felt as of yet....
When I swapped the stock box back in, the light went off. APR box back in, light back on....
Replacing the EGT sensor on Sat. (MarkFank now in the hot seat), so we'll see what happens.
