any other pictures of them out of the car..I'd like to see better how they are integrated into the pipe/bracket you added...
Do they leak when closed or are they sealed?
Where did you run the wires and mount the switch?
I'd really like to see some dyno numbers on these as well as a more detailed write-up.
How would the setup work if only one 3" was used and placed just in front of the center Borla resonator.. Mark??
And why not run them in the config as MarkP's..keeping the butterfly inline as opposed to at a 90 degree? did the selnoids not fit??

first i do have a couple more pics of the brackets themselves i just have to find them. they do not leak when they are closed at all, dmh valves are a great product. the wires were the easiest part, i just ran them up through my engine bay, then into my ecu box, then under my dash to the ignition connector, then ground wire, then mounted the switch on the plastic panel under my dash.
oc avant just asked for a detailed write up so im in work on that as well. as far as dyno numbers go i really dont dyno my car so i can only show track times/fats times. i think they would also work good in front of the first muffler.
there is hardly any room under the car right after the flex joint and especialy tough to fit in front of the stock cats. i found this was the only way to fit them in there, but if your wondering about flow compared to the regular cutout design, they flow just as good and releive all back pressure.
hopefully that helped you out a little bit until the write up.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread (down side of using the search tool I guess). But I'm curious if putting these cutouts before the cats (and sensors) has caused your car to give you a check engine light, and if so, have you done anything to correct that.

i was interested in doing this too, but last time i was looking at the stock d/p's it didnt look like there was enough room between the flex joints and the cats. did you have to move the cats back?
