EMERGENCY: Car has no power steering fluid. I am stuck at work. Can I use generic power steering..
fluid since I am in this bind? .. I called roadside assistance and they said they can bring power steering fluid but it would be standard generic stuff... Thanks!

No, generic is not useable. It happened to me...
it crapped out on me halfway into a 4 hour drive, I put the generic stuff in and it only made it worse. My techs told me to only use the audi stuff.

NO!!!
Have them stop at the closest porsche/audi/vw place and pick up a small bottle ($5) for you, or something.
If they ahve Pentosin, that will work - but just don't use "Generic" stuff!!!
