Default Emissions Problems

I can't get my evap emissions readiness to set. I've gone into basic settings and run the block 71 test which runs fine but can't get block 70 Evap purge regulator test to run, it just continues to say TEST OFF. Am I doing something wrong? I just replaced the n80 purge valve but it didnt change anything. Also I have no codes (wish I did becuase it might point me in the right direction) Does anyone know if the dealers VAG 1551 will actually force the test to cycle?

Any info would be great

TIA

Not sure, I might test this over lunch or something.

Passing Evaporative Emissions Readiness:
1. Step one same as above
2. Block 70 -> click GO
3. Leave car IDLING, and click basic settings.
4. Same as above. Once block 70 passed, repeat from step 2 using block 71.

Once in basic settings, these tests took anywhere from 10 seconds to just under a minute to pass. Close measuring blocks / basic settings and verify in readiness that everything's cool, and you're ready to pass inspection.

Now that was from a 1.8t

It makes not that you can't have any active CELs

If you could try it that would be huge, That way I'll at least know there is something wrong with my system, not just a readiness test that hasn't run yet.

I'll try to get it done.. I've gotta make a call about getting a new drive shaft put in over lunch too. I'm keeping my fingers cross at 3-4 hours at $50-$75 per hour....

Yeah that would be my guess. For whatever reason I keep thinking your trying to set secondary air injection readiness and can't because your a 6mt.. But then I remember it's the evap.
