Default emperical benefits to RS4 intercoolers?

Has anyone provided documented improvement with RS4 intercoolers vs. stock? I am looking for realistic intake air temp reduction.

One thing that you would also consider is increased air flow through the system

Default increases in power are not only due to lower intake temps, but also less effort used

to achieve your power levels.

Default I'll get the testing done...as soon as I get the IC funnels installed...they were not available when

I installed mine.

Default can you pls elaborate re: less effort (more)

So the RS4 intercoolers will flow more air without significant pressure drop vs. stock, all else being equal?

Will the flow rate exceed the range of the stock MAF (housing)?

Default did you have to

cut/grind or fabricate anything to fit the RS4 IC's? I notice you have the RS4 bumper, wonder if the gill vents provide added airflow through the IC's vs. just the panel in the wheel well.

Default It is possblie to fit them under the OEM bumper...KAOS, AZ (Papa Smurf) did it.

Here are some pics of the flow thru the gills.

and the piping/hoses&clamps were perfect from JoshD at Achtuning.com I believe that Papa Smurf had developed them with JoshD, and that's what was used as a guide to the Samco sets that come with the RS4 IC kit now.

Default However, does it shift the torque curve into an accelerating waveform secondary to the larger

pressure delta? Just curious.
