Engine light came off after a car wash? Any idea?
after a car wash, I head out for dinner and all of a sudden I noticed that the check engine light went off. The car seems to drive normal. I then drove it home and reset the ECU by pulling the battery cable. I haven't got any check engine light since...hmmm?? what up with that?? Anyone have a clue?

Check for DTC's... might be something like a random misfire
btw, English is lame... people say "the light went off" and "the light went on" and can mean the same thing :-) Altho "went on" is obviously a little more correct and to the point ;-)
