Enough is enough. PSA: DO NOT BUY FROM AUDSPEED!!! More inside...
After sending my turbos to Rubens at Audspeed, he installed new CHRA's and was SUPPOSED to install new K16 compressor wheels, and he may deny it, but why did he charge me for the new wheels then? Anyways, not 30 seconds after installation, they failed. No from oil starvation, or anything else, purely because they were not balanced correctly. He reused the old compressor wheels, and filed down the edges to try and cover up the marks that were on them. After BLOUCH analyzed them and said it was due to improper balancing job, Rubens still refused to refund my money. I am currently pursuing gettign my money back through the credit card company, as it is the last resort. I tried to work it out with him, but he is unwilling to rational, and runs a poor business. Please read the thread that I posted in the link, and decide for yourself!

as someone who does not know the truth or the story, I have a few things to say..
1. If he did what you said that's pretty crappy... but if you can prove it, you have every right to be angry and go after him for at the very least a full refund.
2. but if there is ANY part of what you are saying publicly that is not true or cannot be proved be aware you may be opening yourself up to litigation, and while truth is the untouchable defense the burden would be on you to prove it.
It is both unprofessional and unwise to vent issues like this publically- particularly when you are accusing him of what equates to grand larceny and fraud. If you were to just say "this dude is an ******* and has crappy customer service" that's one thing - but to express what you believe to be fact that he intentionally defrauded you without substantiation is on the border of being dangerous...
Don't get me wrong, caveat emptor and all that jazz is the mantra here - and telling everyone how much of a pud puller he might be is totally different than what you've said above which amounts to unverified libelous slander.
If you have the verified and documented proof that someone defrauded you then post it all up with your comments and let the public decide and call the police. This is akin to picketing outside a store that has refused a refund - but if you are picketing and your sign says "This store stole 200$ from me" and they didn't you are now libel for the business they may have lost as a result.
I'm not saying this to call you out, just to point out that you are now slandering someone personally and accusing them of a felony, which now makes it a legal issue... This would be no different than if you had claimed he raped you, except the rape depending on the state might require less prison time than a fraud... sadly.

Thanks for the heads up. And yes, I do have all the proof. I have the emails between us, and as
for saying he purposely defrauded me, I just believe that he provided a defective product and won't stand behind his work. That is all. All I wanted was my money back, but if he wants to not stand behind his products, then I feel it is my RESPONSIBILITY to warn others in the community of his business practices. How would you feel if you were in the same situation? By the way, if you want proof...tell me what you want and I'll get it for you.

I assume by rebuilt, you mean new CHRA's? If so, that has very little to do with his
service. He simply takes the housings off and replaces the unit. He doesn't have to balance them or anything. In my case, he didn't balance them correctly, resulting in complete failure.

Well, as I said. You are lucky. I'm not the first person that has had problems with him.
Good for you if you haven't had problems. But I figured its only fair to let others in the community know the truth about this and let them develop their own opinion. I sure know I would like to know something like this before I paid someone over $1000 to rebuild my turbos.
