I thought that was the whole engineering behind the Mustang Dyno. It attempts to duplicate street
load characteristics. Obviously it doesn't match driving habits or banging through gears when "legal" racing. :-)

IIRC FATS times on EPL's dyno are pretty close to what they would be on the street
So the pull last approximately the same amount of time. Although I can see the loading and lack of airflow (very hard to similate airflow at 90 mph without a windtunnel) as putting more stress on the car. That said, fixedwing is right... as it all depends. No one does a 30 min dyno pull at max rpm, however highspeed driving tends to be just that.

UPDATE: the dyno day is going to get squashed if they don't find more cars to dyno. Please sign up
if anyone wants to dyno their car.
