Default Which keeps the IAT's lower across the whole spectrum during acceleration to redline?

PLease consider a Ebay/jhm fmic and a nicer (asp , what otherbrand I don't know) intercooler vs the ER's. I guess maybe take into account pressure loss also. THIs would be for a Rs6 or greater turbo..

Default that's what its creators and resellers would want you to believe but the ER's i would say are compar

able to FMIC's, NOT superior.

Default personally i think ER's are superior. installation is easier, there are no overheating issues, looks

cleaner, etc.

course i am partial to them, since i have em.

Default They are superior in popularity, who knows unless you bolt them on and log blocks on

the same car, the same day, the same FATS Run, and also allow on both occasions to de-heatsoak for proper comparison...

then we'll have our answer. Now...If someone wanted to permanently donate me some ER's and an FMIC core/piping i'll gladly do a charted comparison! oh and a new dremel too :-o

:-D LOL

Default there has been enough data on both to show that ERs > FMIC in terms of IATs, and pressure drop

like ZKNY said, they are very close in performance. I think ERs IAT curve has an overall delta of 0-5, whereas FMIC has a delta of 5-10

the FMIC definitely has more pressure drop with all that piping.

also remember an FMIC blocks the radiator

Default Heat soak on the ER's > FMIC...I'm interested to see what happens

above 24psi. My FMIC did a great job @ 23psi taper to 21, but 26-25 taper might not work as well. I'm affraid of pressure drop at this boost level.
