What does it mean 'double sided'? as oppose to what?

Default The double sided CF hoods have carbon fiber on both sides of the hood...

The single sided CF hoods have carbon fiber only on the top and the underside is a flat black. Those who like to open their hoods at car shows tend to go with the double sided hoods.

Here is a pic of the double sided hood...

Default I just added a picture to our website showing the weave up close....

Also, here is a nice up close shot of a EuroGEAR hood on an R32.

I'm a little worried about that fitment - is the hood not closed all the way on the R32?

Default I think that's pretty much the same as how the stock hood looks, although the darker color may

exaggerate the look a bit. Look by the fender, the hood lines up the same distance from the headlight as the fender.

Default You might be right. I don't recall my GTI having fitment like that.

But you've got a Golf, so I trust you.

Default The hood is closed all the way on the R32 and...

that gap between the hood and the grill is there in stock form as well. I'm not sure how many of you know Nebuchadnezzar over on VWVortex but that is his car (he posts on Audiworld occassionally). According to him the fit and finish are excellent. Below is a link to an overhead shot of his car. I don't want to post the picture here because it is rather large.
