very hot and very high (elevation)...maybe humid too? don't know about humidity.
that strip is known to be one of the slowest around...especially in the dead of summer.
FYI, in normal conditions a stock TIP runs 14.6-14.8s 1/4 miles...so you can see how bad the conditions were.

I do. It was my car and I was driving and I suck at launching. I had never drag raced before.
There was nothing wrong with the car. It dyno'd on the high end of what GIAC has seen for stock cars on their dyno, it had no issues on the road course later that day, nor on the drive home. I have since performed a leak check, and no issues were found, and it now also runs quite smooth and strong with the AMS chip.
It was all operator error.
