Exactly why are people getting RS4 oil coolers?

Exactly why are people getting RS4 oil coolers?
With K04s, I have yet to see my oil temps above 240 degrees. And that is doing 120mph plus, at WOT, in 100+ degree heat. What gives? Does my car just run cool?

When tracking the car you can see close to 300 ( or more) with the K03's
Even running hard on the street i see north of 250. Not good. Should be getting mine in 2-3 weeks. Just a little piece of mind for me. And just a little closer to the RS4 ;-)

I wonder what type of diff it would make on a slower course....
Like an AutoX or something. Doing my daily Le Mans drive through the canyon (lots of sharp turns, WOT, and hard braking. Speeds anywhere from 30-100mph.) My temps rarely see above 220. Its just when you hold WOT for a LONG *** time that the temps start to creep up.
