Exactly why are people getting RS4 oil coolers?

Autox is too small/short to get the temps up to need it for just that.
It's the track usage that will do it. But like you said, with K04s it is probably not needed, it's for us lowly K03ers..

eric, I was going to see if the RS4 oil cooler(from Achtung) will fit on the A6
What are your impressions with the oil cooler? Just wondering. Its just that it seems to be in the 90's whenever I hit a track event! : ). I do anything to help my car run alittle easier. Let me know. Thanks.
