Default Exhaust.....

I need suggestions on which exhaust to buy for my '02 S4. I'm looking at APR, Borla, and Bruellen, but if there any others out there than I'm open for suggestions. Im looking for a high performance, full cat-back exhaust for a good, competitive price. Thanks for your help

Default try UUC VM3...or go to your local exhaust tuner....

to see if he can bend you a custom exhaust.
I love duals all the way out from the cats, it adds a little extra boost to low end. turbos spool up faster.

Default IMO.Bruellen doesnt sound all that great, It has that "sound blaster" whoosh, rather than

a deep tone/growl. IMO.

Default depends what sound u want... VM3 is LOUD, APR is too, (well they used to be), Borla gives u...

a V8 "burble" sound... Neuspeed sounds similar, not as loud as the others, Forge is cool, but expensive... look at the tech articles they have something on exhaust

I'd add the Neuspeed G2 to your list, simply an exhaust...around $600. I'm sure others will agree.

Default By high performance, do you mean higher peak torque and power numbers or an ideal torque curve? :)

"What are exhaust manifolds and stock exhaust systems good for? Besides a really cheap boat anchor? If you think about it, you'll realize that since stock exhausts are so good at restricting that they'll actually ram the exhaust pulses together and actually make pretty darn good low-end torque! Something to keep in mind, though, is that even though an OEM exhaust may make gobs of low-end torque, they are not the most efficient setup overall, since your engine has to work so hard to expel those exhaust gasses."<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng28.shtml">https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng28.shtml</a</li></ul>
